Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman
I got my copy of Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman yesterday so I can follow Jenn's suggestion and read it along with Specimen Days.

There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written or badly written. – Oscar Wilde

that is so cool like you wouldn't believe Ness!
I just got a copy of Colette. A friend who heard me drooling about her (sort of in a gossipy way as I hadn't really read anything by her, only heard about her through other writers who waxed lyrical) stumbled on a copy of Cherie in a secondhand bookshop and bought it for me. I have the best friends!
wow...is this new...this reading group? I remember reading Leave sof Grass in university a while back, I remember liking it...maybe it is time to check it out again!
Jenn: You do have the best friends. I love any kind of book gift. It really makes me feel the giver understands me.
Minka: Just started this month. Join us in reading both books.
Ah, another book I need to read some day!
Actonbell: There's still time to join us. I'm reading the first version, which is shortest.
